Psychology of the Bystander

A panel discussion to celebrate the Fall/Winter 2006-07 issue of Greater Good features the magazine’s editors and contributors, including legendary psychologist Philip Zimbardo (Stanford Prison Experiment) and New Orleans Times-Picayune photographer Ted Jackson. They discuss “the psychology of the bystander” and consider the role of reporters as active interveners versus bystanders in the stories they cover.
