We all want to be happy, and there are countless ideas about what happiness is and how we can boost it. But not many of those ideas are based on science. At this talk, Emiliana Simon-Thomas, science director of Cal’s Greater Good Science Center and co-instructor for the Science of Happiness online course that has served over 600K people around the world, will lead you through the latest research and offer evidence-backed strategies for finding more happiness in life. The Greater Good Science Center studies the psychology, sociology and neuroscience of well-being, and teaches skills that foster a thriving, resilient and compassionate society.
