In a special evening presentation on August 11th, at Cleveland High School, Dr. Christopher Kukk and Scarlett Lewis, mother of a Sandy Hook victim, will address the subject “Sandy Hook to Seattle: Building a Compassionate Schools Movement.”
On August 12th, attendees will hear how experts have approached challenges faced by schools today, share stories and practices with peers, learn about available tools and resources, form new relationships and networks, and leave filled with hope and commitment that together we will build a Compassionate Schools Network in Washington State.
