Participate in this multidisciplinary public dialogue lead by the scientists and thought leaders, most notably Davidson, Ekman, Kabat-Zinn, Harrington, Ramachandran, Eagleman to name a few that are pioneers in their research. Being Human 2012 will start the public dialogue on intriguing scientific and philosophical questions and may challenge long-held beliefs on many of these questions, which are listed as follows:
• How has evolution shaped our brains to construct a model of reality?
• How does the subconscious mind influence the decisions we make?
• What is the relationship between self and culture?
• Are you who you think you are, or is that just an illusion?
• What does science tell us about our interactions with fellow humans?
• Is humanity still evolving?
